The triggers are important. I can't remember if it generates an error or not if you try to use a QAQQINI that was copied, but I believe it does. You shouldn't need too many different QAQQINI files. I would just have 2...one for maximum performance and the other in QUSRSYS as the default. Your high performance one would allow more parallelism than the QUSRSYS version. Be careful though. With SMP and *MAX parallelism, a single bad query can eat the system alive. One person would be happy I guess, but the rest of your users wouldn't be. ;-) Mark
