Some video cards have 2 outputs.  The standard video connection and a DVI
connection.
My Dell had the both, I bought DVI to VGA adapter and now have 2 monitors.
You just have to enable it in Display Properties on the PC.

First of all a dual monitor setup might be better (and cheaper) than on

huge

screen.
