RE: IBM Fax support for iSeries

Hi....
Facsimile Support is most definately still supported on R540 of the 
operating system.  There are no plans at this time 
to end the life of this product.  Although no new enhancements have been 
made recently, it is a very solid product. 

The 2761 hardware was disabled in R530 of the operating system, unlike the 
2664 Integrated Fax Adapter,
where we  would state it was unsupported but it was still useable. 
Unfortunately this caused some customers
issues and were told their environment was not supported when in fact it 
was their hardware and not the software product.

The chart I previously submitted does not list R540 specifically but if 
you notice that the hardware that is not supported
will list the end release.  This way I would not need to alter each 
release.
