RE: prob: to convert data from an excel sheet ontothe as400environment.

Again, a multitude of ways.  One person suggest some VBA stuff and that. 
Frankly, I don't know a whole lot about that, but there might be some 
promise in that.

Another way is to File, Save As and save it as a CSV.  Then use a ftp 
script to send the data up and submit a job to post it.

Or, use the Data transfer in Excel to save it directly to a DB2 file. Then 
a trigger on that file could post each row.

Or do the File, Save As and save it directly to an IFS file.  Then the 
program associated with this Exit Point to automatically process the new 
IFS file.

There's probably a few other ways to do it also.
