I am aware of the option's Excel provides for sending & receiving data to and 
from the AS/400.
I apologize for not being clear.
The solution I was looking for was perhaps an Excel macro that would not only 
save keyed in data
in ' .csv ' format, send it to perhaps an 'IFS' folder then initiate an AS/400 
job to process
the transmitted data.

I guess it depends on your definition of "Excel & AS/400 techniques".  The 
one link I pasted had a function in Excel that would transfer data to the 
iSeries.  The other link allowed you more granularity, and an ability to 
control the flow from your iSeries, using programming on the iSeries.
