We use ghostscript in Pase mode.

It's free and it works fine. You can set the pagesize, the
dpi and many other options.

First You can convert the PDF into PCL with a simple line
command like this:

/QopenSys/usr/local/bin/gs -dBATCH -DNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=(the
device driver) -sPAPERSIZE=a4 .....

Then print the PCL to QSYSPRT DEVTYPE(*USERASCII) and send
to any network printe printer with SNDTCPSPLF.
