We use ghostscript in Pase mode.

It's free and it works fine. You can set the pagesize, thedpi and many other options.

First You can convert the PDF into PCL with a simple linecommand like this:

/QopenSys/usr/local/bin/gs -dBATCH -DNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=(thedevice driver) -sPAPERSIZE=a4 .....

Then print the PCL to QSYSPRT DEVTYPE(*USERASCII) and sendto any network printe printer with SNDTCPSPLF.
