-----Original Message----- system32? What about 64bit? :-)
I see the emoticon, but never the less for 64 bit Windows it's a mess. The 64-bit system dll's still have the '32' suffix (i.e. kernel32.dll is still called kernel32.dll) however there are now at least two versions of those files in the system. The true 32-bit version and the 64-bit version and if you're really pedantic there's the 32-64-bit bridge version. Thankfully 16-bit is no longer supported, otherwise that would have lead to the 32-bit 16-bit emulation layer running in the 64-bit 32-bit emulation layer. See I said it was a mess! Plus you now have two 'Program Files' directories to deal with...and a host of other similar 'split personality' items. But it's very stable, so not all bad news. --phil
