They probably use an ad service that looks at the page contents and
tries to match the ads to the key words on the page. It saw property
terms and sent the realtor's ad. I've seen this on other sites where a
forum that's bashing a product or vendor winds up with ads for the same
product/vendor on the page. Funny. The ad sensing apps aren't yet
bright enough to get actual context.

Mike,

someone needs to give thier webmaster a kick in the ass...putting an
advert for a realtor on a page/story that's about massive building
damage is kinda in poor/morbid taste.....

Don in DC

To wrap this topic up... you should see the destruction in my area
(Mankato is about 1.5 hours west from Rochester). 41 houses reported
destroyed or damaged, 1 killed, and so many injured they had to open a

second emergency room in St. Peter ( about 10 minutes north of
Mankato. I don't know about Rochester, but most of the damage was
about 10 miles north of Mankato, from about Nicolette to Owatona (look

at a map to know what heck I am talking about). This is all in
Southern Minnesota. We didn't get a drop of rain, but north and south
of us got hammered.

Here's and okay starting point on pictures:
