The machine is far away and I'm trying to get setup
for access. Where did you find info on setting that
up ??? (probably that fabulous InfoCenter)

The jack on the front isn't usable. It is some kind of special IBM diagnostic port, but I have never seen it used. Maybe if the hardware turned into a pSeries instead of an iSeries it could be used there.
