QCTL is always at DEQW. -----Original Message----- From: "rob@xxxxxxxxx"<rob@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: 8/22/06 7:24:49 AM To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion"<midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Problem with Starting QINTER If you do a WRKACTJOB SBS(QCTL) what is the status of QCTL? Current Subsystem/Job User Type CPU % Function Status QCTL QSYS SBS .0 DEQW QSYSSCD QPGMR BCH .0 PGM-QEZSCNEP EVTW We had a situation where someone did a ENDSBS of everything and then brought them all back up without doing an IPL or a STRSBS QCTL. You can run quite well with QCTL sitting in an END state. We put a WRKACTJOB SBS(QCTL) in our downtime instructions after that to ensure that this never happens again.
