Sorry to hear that. Does your manager not allow you to use your keyboard either? There's an old beer soaked memory that's coming back to me from my S/36 days. "Back in the day" the S/36 did not have a CALL option in RPGII until the last release. Someone figured out a technique that was quickly adopted by vendors peddling precompilers that would give you call capability. And it did this by using remote APPC calls or some such animal. Maybe if you searched the ILE RPG Programmers Guide and the ILE RPG Reference for ICF programming you may find it.
