Hi! Thanks for your answer but after I discussed with my project manager, I learnt that I cannot use anything related to SQL in this project. Do you have another solution that doesn't use SQL? To midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject How to call a remote program and getting a return value into a passed parameter? Hi! I want to call a program on a remote server. The remote call looks like this: CALL MY_PROGRAM PARM(PARM1 PARM2 PARM3 PARM4) The three first paramters are passed with a value and the last one is blank. So I want this CALL to be executed on the remote machine I want to receive the PARM4 value back on my local machine... What is the simplest way to do so?
