My unprofessional WAG is that second, third, etc sessions do not count.
After all, it is a user license and not a session license.

Now as far as printer sessions go...
If my WAG is correct then a printer session, >on a PC already doing 5250<
shouldn't count anymore than a 2nd or 3rd display session should. However
if you do the common take an obsolete PC and load only iSeries Access and
have it sit in a corner and only control a printer then you may have an
issue.

I suppose if resource security is not a concern and you can base the menu
options off of session name and not session user then you could have
everyone sign on as FRED and maybe only use one license. I saw a pure
MAPICS shop on a S/36 do this years ago. Nightmares are fading but I
think MAPICS had an option to "sign into Mapics" and so an OS user of FRED
could use more than one MAPICS user id.
Disclaimer: I strongly recommend against this technique as logging,
auditing, one user signing in wrong 3 times and shutting everyone out, etc
all start to complicate quickly. And I suspect I will be brought to task
for evening mentioning this by the "security by obscurity" folks.
