We aren't. The printek printer is set up attached to a jetdirect. On the AS400, we configured a remote outq pointing to the ip address of the printer. The spool file is just standard *scs spool file from BPCS. So unfortunately it's not running through any other special hardware or software. Thanks though.
Hey Nick, I would have bet money that it was being caused by a 3rd party product (like ACOM's EZPrint/400, etc.). I was thinking that perhaps EZPrint/400 (or some similar product) might be monitoring the output queue (unbeknownst to you), finding a match & then copying the original & producing a *USERASCII back in the same output queue to be released to the printer. What does the *USERASCII spooled file look like when it is printed? Dan
