Localization - RE: Do you still use *MSGF exclusively?

Greetings:

All translated material that matters -- and if it doesn't, why bother -- 
should be created and reviewed by the right people (and they should never 
be the same people):

they see it in context - "Fatal error" doesn't mean the same thing for a 
software engineer as it does for a zookeeper or astronaut.

multiple - There's even a word for each person's individual language 
quirks; it's an "idiolect" (as in idiosyncrasy + dialect -NOT- as in idiot 
+ intellect).

accomplished - Hard to put a finger on; things like spelling and grammar, 
but there's more.

local - Seen any "brooks" in Texas? or, "creeks" in Vermont?

native - I understand there are "high school" English teachers in Japan 
who have never met someone who grew up speaking the language. Some of the 
results can be found in product inserts.
