Just talked with one at IBM SW support... she was very smart and helpful and even ordered them for me. She was pretty sure that Fix Central would also filter out the ones at V5R3M5 that I most wanted! She said voice was the best way to order in this case. OK... when I used SNDPTFORD to order the cume and groups to get ready for
a
migration that i'm doing, I can see in the job log where the ordering process seems to be discarding the V5R3M5 PTFs because my server is currently at V5R3M0. We are going to a new 520+ which will be running V5R3M5 LIC, so I want to get a full set of PTF cume and relevant groups (shipped from IBM on Media) that will include all the V5R3M5 fixes that I can install post migration. Is there an easy way to do this electronically, or would it be best to
just
do a voice order?
