We have a pair of systems (prod and dev) - each with two Token rings cards
- that need to be converted over to Ethernet instead. I was wondering if
someone can give me some idea of what my pain points and level of effort on
this might be.

I have some spare ethernet cards that we can place in the machines, so that
should not be a problem.

One TR card on each machine is used strictly for machine to machine
communication - mainly for MIMIX. So each machine has a TRLAN line
description and an APPC controller underneath it referencing the other
system.

The second TR card on each machine is used for the TCP/IP traffic. In
addition, on the production server this TR card is used to talk to a couple
dozen 5x94 controllers at remote sites around the country. So I have a TR
line description with a few dozen APPC controller descriptions that
auto-configed when the 5x94 controllers were lit up.

At a high level, can someone give me an idea on what is involved to move
all the communication objects from the TR lines to the new Ethernet lines,
and what 'gotchas' I should be on the lookout for?

TIA,
Scott
