That, of course, depends on how you write your server. Hmmm ... this could present an opportunity for someone to create a framework to manage a data queue based server function. I can envision a framework that would let you register procedure pointers with a controlling application where data structures are passed around with the data queue entry data. The framework would allow for stopping, starting, suspending, querying, and transferring data back and forth between various applications. david
