I'd prefer to run the web app on the i5 but want to make a smart move for the short and long terms. To that end, I'd like to find out if our Websphere environment on the i5 is up and running and set it up correctly if not. How can I tell?
If you can get yourself plugged into the IBM'ers in the labs in Rochester, they should be able to help you out. Bob Cancilla (rcancill@xxxxxxxxxx) is another great resource. He just recently went over to IBM; before that he was a pioneer in web-enabling the AS/400/iSeries/System i and actually doing business with it. One tip from Bob -- make sure WAS doesn't share its memory with anything. Even if it's not using it. Mike E.
