All,

Tim Chrysler said he posted a response to the list, but it didn't show, so
he replied directly to me. His suggestion resulted in a query that was more
in line with what I've seen before, but the query I used, shown below,
returns no records. Anybody know why?

  select * from SRCMBRHASH a
    where a.shh_Lib = 'PRODSRCE' and
           a.shh_File LIKE 'Q%' and
           shh_LCDate =
                (select max( shh_LCDate )
                     from SRCMBRHASH b
                   where a.shh_Lib = b.shh_Lib
                      and a.shh_File = b.shh_File
                      and a.shh_Member = b.shh_Member )
    Order by a.shh_Lib, a.shh_File, a.shh_Member,
               a.shh_LCDate desc, a.shh_LCTime desc

(I realize that it doesn't address the LCDate & LCTime issue like Don's
example does, but wanted to try something to see if it would work.)
