STRMSF MSGOPT(*CLEAR) MSF *does not* like its files deleted! Mike Grant Bytware, Inc. 775-851-2900 http://www.bytware.com
-----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of James H H Lampert Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2006 11:10 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: MSF going nuts, and I think it's from an endless loop problema few days ago On the box that crashed this morning from a power interruption, MSF has started trying to send a whole bunch of nonexistent emails. I think this may have something to do with a test that went awry a few days ago, which went into an infinite loop of spamming me (thank God nobody else!) with a test message. At the time, once I stopped the endless loop that was generating the messages, I deleted the IFS files, and MSF generated a whole bunch of errors trying to send them anyway, before quieting down. Now it looks like it's trying to resend the messages. Is there a way to clear MSF? -- JHHL -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
