Dave: Thanks for the code. That's just what I was trying to do, but could not get the "resolve system pointer" to return anything useful to me. Perhaps I had some other part of the usage of the code wrong and, when STRDBG refused to show me the pointer content, I simply assumed that RPGLE could not handle that kind of pointer. The RPG manual does say it's only space or procedure pointers, but you seem to have solved the problem. Very nice. Well done.
