Yup...PRPBHNODUP is empty. Maybe I *am*doing it right. At least the user
thinks so. :)

SELECT DISTINCT * is going to give you every record that isn't an exact
duplicate of another.  If just one column has a different value between
two records you'll get both records.

Have you made sure that PRPBHNODUP is empty before the insert?
