I spoke to a software house recently while looking for a distribution package. They have had to "revert" back to 5250 in several accounts due to complaints on the web versions. Chris Bipes wrote:

We have two versions of ERP: in 5250 and Web (webfacing + J2EE aplications). Most of the companies decided use Web, but when they saw 5250 with Client Access, the decision was: "we like Client Access, i don´t want web. C.A. it´s more efficient, fast and we can emulate remote printers".
