POI: Excel limitations and Word

Hi all.

I have used POI excel for generate complex excel
documents.

But my customer wants make cell with more than 1024
characters visible into a cell. One limitations about
Microsoft excel is not more than 1024 visible
characters by cell.
I use adjusted regions and works fine.
But the customer wants use a unique cell like a text.
it´s possible in excel?. I doubt it.

I´m thinking to use POI to generate Word document
(more flexible for use text) or iText (with RTF
document, less flexible than word).
Anybody use POI to generate word?
