Ok, let's try again. Let's say you have a fat PC. You can bang out your traditional windows applications ok. Now, you want to do sharing. Either file sharing, like storing an Excel spreadsheet, or a database that you access via ODBC or some other such animal. That's when you need something like Windows Server, or an i5 or some other such animal. Now, let's add a twinax terminal into the mix. Wouldn't you need a twinax card, or some such device in an i5? Yes. Now with a thin client you need a Terminal Server in order to do anything. You still may need an additional Windows Server or i5 to do file and data sharing. Rob Berendt
