Elvis, I currently use it to list active jobs on the system. Provides all the information that workactjob does. I don't think there is an equivalent API. Another one to look at is QGYOLJOB. What about WRKACTJOB to *PRINT and then CPYSPLF to a physical file? I'd hate parsing it programmatically but if it's just for historical purposes it may be good enough. [VENDOR HAT ON] We have a product that does something like this using QUSLJOB and some other methods: http://www.centerfieldtechnology.com/tools/insuremonitor.asp [/VENDOR] Elvis -----Original Message----- Subject: QUSLJOB out to a file Hi list: I need to have the WRKACTJOB information written into a file. I know I can use the API QUSLJOB to do this but, is there anybody out there that is doing this already and is willing to share the code? I have seen examples but they are not easy to modify to write into a file instead.
