I assume by "certain type of record" that you are not talking aboutdifferent formats. If it is a field with a certain value, or somecharacter in a field, then Jerry's suggestion works. But, as he says,it is limited to exactly one set of data, and if you need to changethe company, SQL might be better. Or just build the key overeverything and do a SETLL/READE/CHAIN kind of thing.


It seems there is more to this story - it'd help to have the subtext.
