Wildly popular is an understatement. The last number I heard on unix variations was just over 200. Now if you are a fortune 500 size company, which flavor are you going to pick ? Would you really base a corporate sized accounting system on a o/s that's supported by several folks who like to dabble in programming ? Those programs you mention are popular and in some cases very successful, but to who ??? Mostly gear heads who love the art form and the cheap prices. Scott Klement wrote:
