You should be able to retrieve the list of jobs ran by a specific user from 
your system's audit journal, assuming it has been setup.  I believe the audit 
journal will also tack any profile swapping that may be occurring.  You should 
also look at the objects owned by the user profile and determine if any of 
their programs have been setup to adopt authority, you can use the DSPPGM to do 
this analysis.  

You will not be able to remove the user profiles until you have removed all of 
the references.

Does anyone know a way to display all jobs that run under or use a specific
user profile.  We currently have a few old employee profiles that are still
be used and would like to elimate them if possible.  Some of these profiles
are using the IBM Office product that requires some sort of e-mail
verification (still checking into this) and we cannot simply change
ownership of the jobs to another profile.  Any suggestions would be
appreciated!
