If both servers are at V5R3 and same PTF level, I would think using the
checklist for a complete system restore
after looking the load source would be better.  You would be rebuilding
the
new server from the GO SAVE #21 tape
created from your old server.

You would still have to take care of any configuration object resource
differences.
