If I were you, I'd take a look at QuickEDD. It works without remote
journaling. The interface is extremely intuitive, and I find it
outstanding.

Itera is by far the easiest product to use. I have exp. w/ this and w/
DataMirror. The ease of use is night and day. At company X,  for
example, they need to employ a highly paid consultant to deal w/ many
issues arrising from Data Mirror constant out of sequence. Whereas w/
Itera, the operator can spend maybe 30 minutes a day to monitor
everything.

I cannot understand why this operational defficiency does exist.
