Dave 11 * 17 size paper is huge. Try printing in landscape mode using either legal {8 1/2 * 14} or letter {8 1/2 * 11} size paper. Use the Courier font at 10, 12 or 15 CPI at 8 LPI. If your reports have 198 columns, I would use legal size paper. If 132 columns, you can use letter size paper. \Vincent -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of daparnin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: March 29, 2006 11:05 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Bigger Font for OUTQ? Our last "big honkin" twinax line printer will be going away shortly (yea!!!). As an alternative to the wide paper that the users are used to for their reports I'm working on setting up a OUTQ for the 11x17 paper drawer of their copier. I've created the workstation customizing object that selects the correct drawer and I've adjusted the PRTORIENT parameter so that it it prints portrait on the paper. The problem is that the font is small and the output is squashed in the corner of the paper. I seem to remember that you needed to remove the CPICOR lines to eliminate the auto-reduction of the font. I've done that but it doesn't look like it did any good. Even if it didn't auto-reduce it, I want to make it bigger. Any suggestions?
