I wonder if that turning over that stuff to a "basic user" can do more harm than good. For instance there are a lot of old AS/400 people that still think that the primary purpose of an i5 is to run your traditional back office applications: ERP, payroll, etc. They follow that one of the first things you should do is to change your controlling subsystem to QCTL. However, for several of our machines that run only Domino, etc., changing to that value makes no sense at all. There is no need for interactive processing. They do nothing in the QBATCH subsystem. So why fire up those two? Granted, some may think that this is a covert method to make more consulting dollars by burying this checklist, but I don't think so. I've never tried the EZ Setup wizard.
