All,

Back when I installed my first AS/400 (a model 400 in 1996 running v3r6)
which was also my then employer's first AS/400 I remember working
through a "New System Install" check list.

I'm trying to find the equivalent check list now.

I'm not talking about the software installation checklist for actually
installing the OS. The checklist I'm talking about was more like first
time system configuration. A couple things on the list I remember were:

1) Determining controlling subsystem
2) Changing your system name (CHGNETA)

In addition, I believe there may have be some network configuration
steps also.

I've taken a look at the EZ-Setup Wizard, but it doesn't seem to cover
the tasks above or anything related. Not to mention the fact that the
links from the EZ-Setup Wizard into the information center don't even
work.

Does anyone know if the checklist I'm remembering still exists?

Thanks,

Charles Wilt
