Consider using a VISERA terminal server for console ops from anywhere. I have on that has twelve connections available but use eleven for LPARS running OS's v4r5 to v5r3. Connectivity from users both US domestic and from India. I would like you to consider as part of your DRP plan the following; will there be a way to get in as a console operator? If there is a network error, either the network itself or if the Ethernet line on the remote iSeries is down, how would you get to the machine to answer any messages, investigate etc?
