I agree with you Doug.

Yes, via snail mail someone could intercept it, or it could be misdelivered
by our illustrious postal service.  But even so, the thief has just one.
Or, to get many, it would be very labor-intensive, opening all those
envelopes.

With email, it's all automatic.
