I would run the RTVDSKINF and the PRTDSKINF *SYS on a periodic basis. Like 
at least monthly.  And keep the printouts for comparison.  To be really 
cautious you could read the help on the RTVDSKINF and keep some archive 
copies of the data so that you could run comparisons.
