If your input file has a field that is already packed, do this trick and see what happens: a) Go to "Define Result Fields" b) Define a field c) Use one of the already packed fields you have on the input file (ex. PCKFLD) and do: (PCKFLD * 0) + (Your math expression) d) Run query and create the database. The only note here is that you must allow the query to define the field length it likes. If you set the length (like 11/4) it will create a signed field instead of packed...
