Well, yes, that's the general idea. And I can't take credit for discovering that it can be done, or that it works, (somebody else on the List discovered that) but I can say that it works just fine, and allows you to use RM (which has no exact non-QSHELL equivalent) in your terminal session's job, and only causes problems if you're doing it hundreds of times in a single job (the fact that there's a side effect that causes it to fail after a few hundred calls outside of the QSHELL environment is what I discovered today).
