RE: utility programs

I have an problem that might be interesting/useful enough to build a utility
for. I am testing a process that parses thousands of IFS files, with
multiple formats, into a database, which produces joblogs with thousands of
pages. Wadeing through the joblogs for relavant exceptions is a real pain.
What I would like to see is a program that reads the splf and and displays
the basic error messages, then when I find a message that I need more
information on I would like to press a function key and the program would
display all the info in the splf, press the function key again and the
program would return to abbreviated mode.

Does this sound like something you would be interested in?
