Figured it out ! Management Central on the iSeries server was stopped. The reason it stopped was because QSECOFR password had expired. Even though the profile was enabled, the password expiration level was 2-11-06 and so was expired. There is a dependency on QSECOFR in iSeries Navigator and Management Central. So I reset the password and all is well in my world. Hope this helps you... Something like that...... The failing system has a job QYPSJSVR that shows an error in the log: CPFB9A1 Management Central connection failed. I'm guessing that is why mine doesn't work. It somehow is trying to connect to a host which it should not. I just need to figure out *why* it's trying to connect to that host! Hopefully this will get you closer to your solution as well. -- Sean Porterfield -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
