Why force manual intervention? Why open an Outlook session? Ideally do this: Put a trigger on the customer master. When a record gets updated it uses some server based email program, like the QTmmSendMail api, to send an email from the server. QED. Triggers can give you before and after images so you know exactly which fields got updated. Heck, even if a batch program, user using a 5291 terminal, etc, updates the file it would still work.
