What version of i5/os are you running?

Are you using CPYTOPCD or the CPYTOIMPF?

Did you set up NetServer?

Did you use iSeries Navigator to add a "share"?
File Systems, Integrated File Systems, root, right click on desired 
directory, select Sharing.
