QDLS has the additional requirement that the user MUST be defined in the
system directory. This requirement is often overlooked, and creates a real
headache for your system admin if there's much turnover in your
organization.

There's no advantage to using QDLS, given the newer ifs file systems that
are now available....

If you type the following in the address bar of windows explorer do you
get anything? (SXXXXXXX is the name of your iSeries or the serial
number).
\\SXXXXXXX\QDLS
If not you might need to set up a share Ops Nav.

Frank,

I've tried the CPYTOIMPF, however the keyword STMFCODPAG doesn't exist
in
this command. The copy worked without it.
Now I have to find the file in a PC environment, I've scanned the
network
through explorer, but I can't find QDLS, is an AS400 displayed under
another name ?
Mailing is not an option, there are millions of records to transfer.

Regards

Anne
