This is an clear explanation of the difference between Marketing and Sales.
Marketing sits in their ivory tower and decides to make name and logo changes because of some Power Point Presentation. They sell it upstairs with an even more expensive Power Point Presentation. They get a bonus for it.
Sales groans and says "Those guys are nuts!" They miss quotas because they're 'splainin things instead of selling. They don't get a bonus.
