Are there any error messages after CPFA09E? CPY command doesn't list that message as a possible escape message. Try adding a DLYJOB before CPY to see if its timing related. You could also try CPYTOPCD instead of CPY, using a database file instead of a stream file. QDLS can be very finicky. After creating a file in IFS, I then try to CPY file to QDLS folder so that I can then use SNDDST to e-mail to user. Program that creates file does issue close to file before ending. I also get 'File in use' message if I open with Excel. Ops Navigator says file is not checked out. PUBLIC has *RW. If I signoff and the back on Excel works with out problem and CPY works. Anyone have an idea? TIA Jim
