Dave,

I believe (but I'm not positive) that the .NET provider is standalone. I
could be wrong, take a look.

Also, I know the "heaviness" of the data access install is what's driven
us to use HiT's driver in the past. Simple DLL if I recall correctly.
I've not used any of their recent stuff, but might be worth a look.

Subject: Installing only IBMDA400 provider on a server

Is there a way to install the IBMDA400 provider on a Windoz server and
not install all or most of IBM iSeries Client Access for Windows?

I have an application server that contains an application that needs to
use IBMDA400 for ADODB access to my iSeries but I don't want the folks
using that application server to have all the "goodies" of Client
Access.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
