What WAS interesting was talking to a IT Dir at a casino/hotel that had wanted to replace all the front desk check in 5250 devices with GUI/Windows... The front desk people bitched so loudly that GUI/Windows was slowing them down that the GUI was replaced accross the board with 5250 devices again... :)

I know that Harrah's down the road (Memphis) was hiring "AS/400"
programmers last year.  Just a tad too far for me to drive to consider.
